Introduction
Many
people believe that cloning and cloning research is a scientific process that
is a very recent idea. On the contrary cloning and cloning research has been
around for quite a long time. In 1902, Hans Spemann developed two salamanders
out of two different cells from a salamander embryo. Spemann accomplished this
by looping a strand of human baby hair around the two cells in order to cut
them away from one another which created two different salamanders. While this
is a very interesting topic to discuss, there are a multitude of serious issues
involved with cloning such as medical, ethical, and economic. Now that the
history of cloning has been discussed the medical issues involved with cloning
is the most important topic.
