Introduction

Image
Many people believe that cloning and cloning research is a scientific process that is a very recent idea. On the contrary cloning and cloning research has been around for quite a long time. In 1902, Hans Spemann developed two salamanders out of two different cells from a salamander embryo. Spemann accomplished this by looping a strand of human baby hair around the two cells in order to cut them away from one another which created two different salamanders. While this is a very interesting topic to discuss, there are a multitude of serious issues involved with cloning such as medical, ethical, and economic. Now that the history of cloning has been discussed the medical issues involved with cloning is the most important topic.

presentation response

I liked most of the presentations that i saw during my time in class. I did not get to see all of them because i was absent the first day but the graphic designs for most projects were very good so that way they did not appear boring. Some of the thesis statements did not answer their research questions though which is something that could be improved on. Another thing I noticed with some presentations was that some people put too many long wordy sentences in their power points which made me lose focus and not want to read them. As Far as my presentation went, I thought I did well the only thing i want to improve on is the graphics of my presentation and bulk up some information on some of the slides.

research topic

The topic for my research is on cloning. I am very interested in this topic because i personally do not know much about cloning. However now since i have been researching cloning especially for my research PowerPoint i have gotten to understand much more about this topic. My research question is what are the issues involved with cloning? And my thesis statement is, "There are a multitude of issues involved with cloning such as medical, ethical, and economic." Some audiences that may be interested in my topic could be scientists wanting to get in on the cloning field fr research or really anybody that wants to be informed or passionate about their ethics when it comes to the issue of cloning.
